How I can help you

I am a Solicitor and Civil Litigation Manager at Emerald Law. I manage one of the two teams which handle Housing Disrepair claims. As a Solicitor I have conduct of all of the claims handled by my team but I am assisted in progressing those claims on a day-to-day basis by the members of my team. As a Manager I ensure the claims are progressing as swiftly and smoothly as possible. Although my team predominantly handle Housing Disrepair claims, we also handle a number of other Civil Litigation matters for both the firm and its clients.

My experience

I have an LLB(Hons) degree in Law and a BA(Hons) degree in Literature. Having qualified as a Solicitor in 1999, I have over 25 years’ experience conducting various types of Civil Litigation, including Personal Injury, Debt and Enforcement, Non-Standard Recoveries, Inheritance, Breach of Contract, and Housing Disrepair. I also have experience in drafting Wills.

About me

Outside work I have relatively ‘normal’ interest and hobbies, including walking my pet Jack Russell terrier Meg, going to the cinema and, more occasionally, the theatre, and socialising with friends. I read a lot (mostly history and fiction), I build Lego kits, and I play the guitar.
