Paula is a highly accomplished solicitor who brings over 15 years of legal expertise to Emerald Law. Paula graduated from Queens University Belfast in 2008 with a degree in Law and Politics and went on to complete her Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the College of Law in Chester in 2009. She qualified as a solicitor in 2011 after commencing her training contract in 2010, and her career trajectory within the firm has been exceptional.

With a solid foundation in property law, Paula has developed a strong reputation as an experienced litigator across all areas of civil litigation. She has a particular interest and proven success in housing disrepair/ Housing Conditions cases, where her attention to detail and dedication to achieving the best outcomes for clients sets her apart.

In addition to her legal practice, Paula has been instrumental in the firm’s growth and operational management. Since taking on a managerial role in 2018, she has overseen key aspects of the firm’s development and, in recognition of her contributions, was appointed as a Director in August 2023.

Paula is passionate about staff training and development, recognising it as a cornerstone of the firm's success. Paula takes primary responsibility for all aspects of training, ensuring that each team member is equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment. Through her leadership, the firm’s employees not only enhance their legal expertise but also develop a strong client-focused approach, contributing to the firm’s ongoing success.
