Angela Brown
Head of Family & Non-Court Resolution
Angie joined Emerald Law as Head of Family, bringing over 20 years of experience in the area. As well as being a family solicitor, she is a court advocate and deals with out of court dispute resolution. Angie is a member of Resolution and earned the Law Society Panel and Advanced Panel status.
In May 2010 Angie received recognised status as an interpersonal mediator and in 2012 became FMCA accredited, enabling her to offer specialist family law mediation and MIAMS that provide an alternative approach to resolving any family issues or disputes. In 2023 Angie also became an accredited CIM (Child Inclusive) Mediator.
Angie’s current areas of practise include divorce, finances, children, domestic abuse, and mediation.
Angie is known for clients commending her for her straight-talking approach and sensitivity to their issues and when asked about her practice, Angie would say “I have clients, not cases”.
